- Check In Time
From 14H00. Late arrivals (after 18H00 should make prior arrangements with management).
- Check Out Time
At 11H00. Arrangements for a late check-out can be made with management
- Emergency
Each room is provided with a mobile phone equipped with the essential telephone numbers
(doctor, hospital, chemist, dentist etc).
In the event of an emergency at night please dial 082 415 4755 for assistance.
- Breakfast
Breakfast is served on the patio around the pool on fine days otherwise in the dining area from 08H30 to 10H00.
- Water
Hermanus is a water scarce area. Please assist us in conserving our precious resource. Filtered water is provided in each
apartment which is perfectly safe to drink. A jug of filtered water can also be found in the fridge of your apartment.
- Parking
Parking is fully secure.
- Power Failure
In the event of a power failure, you will find touch lights in your room.
- Safe
Each room is provided with a digital safe. A laptop safe is available on the premises in the managers office. Rooms are
equipped with roller shutters for added security. Cars are parked in a fully secure area.
- Keys
You will be provided a set of keys and a remote control to the front gate to get you in and out of the premises.
Please ensure that keys are returned to management upon departure from Roofers Nest Guest House.
- Internet
A highspeed broadband internet access is available. Access details available from management. 3G Internet reception is
excellent on the premises.
- BBQ
There is a fabulous stainless steel gas BBQ to use at the pool and entertainment area.
- Swimming Pool
For safety reasons, it would be appreciated if there was no diving. Unaccompanied children are not permitted at the pool.
Sun loungers are provided.
- Swimming Towels
No white towels are to be taken to the beach or to the swimming pool. You will find swimming towels in your bedroom
cupboard.
- Laundry
Roofers Nest provides a wash and fold only laudry service at a nominal extra charge.
- Television
Each apartment is provided with an idividual decoder with all DSTV Channels. Deukom is available on a large screen TV in the
communal lounge area.
- Adaptors
Are available for appliances which do not fit our standard electrical sockets.
- Heating
Underfloor heating is available in all bathrooms as well as most of the establishment.
- Hairdryers
Hairdryers are available for your personal use in all rooms.
- Restaurants
For dinner or lunch we will be happy to book you into one of the many restaurants in the area. See here for a list of

- Smoking
Is not permitted inside the house. Ashtrays are provided in designated areas outside.
